I am proud of our drug task
force and of our police Department, which consist of Chief James Crowe, Captain Chris Cox, and the rest of the officers. Their
mission is to help put an end to the serious drug problem in our cities and county. A lot of work has been done, but a lot
still remains to be done, in order to stop this serious problem that is hurting our children and older citizens in our
county. We will continue to work to rid our community of the drug dealers big and small! If we can get help from the public we can put them away!
We are intrested in what you
know: Names of people who handle drugs in anyway, you can call or write to Irvine City Hall, or you can call Chief Crowe at 606-723-3915, day or night, and give a tip, or you
may use the form on this site on the " Give us a tip " page. All names will be kept confidential.
Our goal
is to clean up our community, and to keep our children safe from this spreading, malignant cancer-like problem of drugs. This
problem is taking the lives of our children and adults in our county. We plan to work with the newly formed group
called P.A.D.D. (Parents against drug dealers) in the future. They will be a big support for our drug task force.
We ask
for your support as we work together to make our area a safer place to live!
Thank you,
Mayor E.
